AccuAligners specializes in the production of custom orthodontic appliances designed to adjust or maintain the alignment of a patient’s teeth, as per dentist prescriptions. In cases where treatment is applied to both dental arches,or a single dental arch undergoes treatment. The platform for dentist orders is accessible through our website’s “Dentist Portal.” You have the option to either specify a limited quantity of appliances for treatment or grant us the authority to suggest an appropriate number of appliances aligned with your specified objectives, following our established procedural norms.
Dentists can seamlessly issue prescriptions for appliances by utilizing our dedicated “Dentist Portal” on the website. This process can involve restricting the number of appliances for treatment to a predetermined count or alternatively, entrusting us to propose a suitable quantity of appliances in accordance with your defined treatment goals. This recommendation will be founded on our established movement protocols that adhere to industry standards.
For prescriptions entailing the creation of new appliances with the objective of repositioning teeth (“active” appliances), a 3D representation of the appliances slated for production (referred to as a treatment “setup”) will be generated based on your prescription. It is essential that this treatment setup receives your explicit approval prior to the commencement of manufacturing. The manufacturing process of the appliances will only commence upon obtaining your endorsement for the treatment setup. It is important to note that charges related to treatment setups will solely apply if and when your approval is granted.
Should your prescription encompass exclusively “passive” appliances intended for maintaining the existing teeth alignment or involve reproductions of pre-existing appliances, the procedure for treatment setup approval is not applicable.
The placement of an “order” comes into effect upon the authorization of a treatment. Full payment is obligatory at the time of order placement. Subject to prevailing legal allowances, finance charges equating to 1-1/2% per month (18% per year) may be levied on overdue payments. Irrespective of any disparities or inconsistencies, amounts acknowledged by you as owed and unchallenged necessitate settlement without any offset against potential obligations to our entity.
AccuAligners are crafted with precision by our certified Accualigners dental lab. These aligners are made from PVS impressions (both upper and lower) or digital intraoral scans provided by the dentist. The dentist must evaluate the patient’s orthodontic needs, dental health, and overall fitness for the treatment before sending the scan to the AccuAligners online platform. The dentist is obligated to maintain records as per UAE Law guidelines. Our Accu3D printing and production lab will create the necessary number of aligners based on the treatment plan. Each aligner should be worn continuously, with exceptions only for meals and dental hygiene, for a minimum of 20 hours daily. For any additional aligner needs, kindly reach out to us.
Every aligner is custom-made, labeled, and packaged at the start of the treatment. They are promptly shipped to you with a corresponding treatment plan. Along with each aligner, you’ll receive an overview chart detailing the force points’ objectives and positions, plus an in-depth sheet for each stage outlining all IPR and force point specifics. This plan, inclusive of a digital report and animation link, showcases the teeth’s progression to the desired outcome. This plan is accessible on the AccuAligners online platform for review, modifications, approval, and payment. The animation link can be shared with patients to clarify the treatment process and expected results. Once approved on the AccuAligners platform, we’ll produce the necessary aligners for your patient within 7 business days post-payment.
Documentation Requirements
For the mutual benefit of both the company and the dentist, the following documentation standards are set:
For Every New Patient:
– Digital scans or PVS impressions of both dental arches.
– Various angled photographs including full face, smiling, profile, upper & lower occlusal, left & right lateral, and frontal views.
For Retainers Not Based on Previous Steps
– Digital scans or PVS impressions of the specified arches.
It’s imperative that all provided records genuinely depict the present state of the patient’s dentition. The dentist holds the exclusive responsibility for the precision of the submitted records and their upkeep. Any discrepancies or omissions in scans and impressions can influence the adaptability and efficacy of dental appliances. The company, AccuAligners, will not bear responsibility for complications arising from flawed records.
While digital x-rays are advised, they aren’t mandatory. Only the Doctor’s Portal should be used for submitting photos and x-rays. Physical records can be dispatched to AccuAligners or its recognized regional delegate. All provided materials will be considered the property of AccuAligners.
The AccuAligners system operates on a dual-phase putty and wash method using polyvinylsiloxane (PVS) or a digital intraoral scan of both the upper and lower dental arches in STL format. AccuAligners offers individual pricing for digital impressions of the maxilla and mandible. The precision of these impressions is crucial for the proper fit of the aligners. If any impression is deemed unsatisfactory, we will inform you via email and request new impressions. The dentist is accountable for ensuring that all submitted impressions are of top quality and devoid of flaws. Please note that once impressions are submitted, they will not be returned. However, if the dentist needs study models, it should be specified, and additional fees may apply.
The photos we need are – pictures of the open mouth, showing both the upper and lower arches. Lateral left and right buccal in centric occlusion, full face with lips retracted in centric bite, full face lips at rest and lateral profile lips at rest.
AccuAligners produces aligners based on the dentist’s approved treatment plan, considering the overall evaluation of the patient’s dental and oral health. Before starting the treatment, any issues related to cavities, gum disease, or TMD should be addressed. The dentist is advised to follow the recommended movement guidelines provided by AccuAligners. Any deviations from these guidelines are under the dentist’s responsibility. It’s essential to be cautious with rotations, intrusions, and extrusions since they can be challenging to accomplish.
However, there are some limitations to treatment where you need to combine attachments or perform extractions or IPR. Our trained team will guide you step by step to help you with the necessary movement methods.
The dentist must ensure that the patient comprehends and signs the consent form before undergoing treatment. Any non-compliance, misuse, or inappropriate use by either the dentist or the patient could lead to treatment failure. A case will be deemed concluded if there’s no written communication with Accualigners about the treatment for 12 consecutive weeks. Resuming treatment after this period may incur digital assessment fees and additional costs. The company is not liable for unsatisfactory treatment outcomes if the patient fails to follow the recommended usage guidelines. To continue treatment, fresh impressions and a new treatment form are mandatory. The company might view this as a new treatment and charge based on the standard price list. The treatments are appropriate for individuals aged 14 and above, provided they have fully grown teeth without a mix of adult and baby teeth.
Should there be any discrepancies in the anticipated movement of a patient’s teeth after using the Aligners Appliances, the dentist has the right to seek an “revision” for the treatment. A fresh treatment plan will be devised according to the current dental positioning. This includes a detailed reconfiguration of the final plan encompassing up to 24 stages, valid within one year from the dispatch date of the initial appliance. Amendments can be derived from recent scans, impressions, or a preceding stage.
A “Revision” pertains to modifications requested in the plan prior to its endorsement. On the other hand, a “Refinement” refers to post-approval requests for slight corrections or tweaks to the aligners, as suggested by your dentist during the course of treatment.
Accualigner retains the authority to decline the use of any voucher, coupon, or discount on specific services or products at our exclusive judgment. We also hold the right to end our association with you, especially if you do not adhere to these Terms and Conditions.
In the agreement between AccuAligners and the dentist, we aim to prioritize our customers’ satisfaction with our aligners. We’ve set forth certain terms that we believe are in the best interest of our clients.
All Sales are final. Should an order be revoked for any reason, no credits or refunds will be issued for the amount paid for that particular order.
Due to health and safety protocols, we cannot accept returns of our impression kits. However, if our orthodontic specialists conclude that you’re not a fit candidate for our clear aligners, a complete refund will be processed.
For any queries regarding your order, please reach out to us at info@accualigners.com, and we’ll be more than willing to help.
